Thank you for joining us for our 15th Annual Riverview Bank- Symbol of Freedom event Sponsored by - Waste Connections of WA., Inc.

Join us for an evening of honor, education, and inspiration as we gather to celebrate and recognize the service and sacrifice of our local veterans—many of whom we are proud to call our clients.

Held annually near Veterans Day, the Symbol of Freedom event is more than a tribute - it's an opportunity to share what we do, how we do it, and most importantly, why we do it: to serve our clients with excellence and integrity.

Each year, an inspirational keynote speaker joins us to share a powerful story of resilience, perseverance, and motivation. We are continually moved and inspired by the experiences they bring, and we are deeply grateful for the perspective and strength they share with us.

This year's keynote speaker Colonel Lee Ellis USAF (ret.)

A native of Commerce, Georgia, Col. Ellis graduated from the University of Georgia in 1965 as a Distinguished Graduate of Air Force ROTC.

He received his pilot wings in August 1966 at Moody AFB, GA and was assigned to fly the F-4C Phantom fighter-bomber.

In 1967 Col. Ellis was assigned to Danang Air Base, Republic of Vietnam, where he flew 68 combat missions with 53 over North Vietnam.

On November 7, 1967, he was shot down, captured and held as a prisoner of war for more than five years.

**Registration opens at 6 PM. Dinner starts promptly at 6:30 PM
